Give the Perfect Gift! | Holiday Ready

It’s the most ‘stressful’ time of the year … see what I did there? Holidays always stress me out, and I don’t even have that many people to buy for. But I am very thankful to be done all my Christmas shopping early this year! Here is a list of ways to give a great gift for anyone for Christmas. I promise it will make your life easier!

You have to be sneaky and creative sometimes to find the best gift.

Brainstorm:
I know it’s cliche but it’ll help organize your thought. Get a piece of paper, and write down all the things you know about the person. Favorite colors, foods, shows, clothing, activities and such. When you have everything down on one page it is easier to keep them all in mind. Following you can usually pick one ‘theme’ and go along with that.

Talk to them:
Have a chat with them, but do not ask “what do you want for Christmas”. I say this because often times people will say they aren’t sure or something that you can’t afford to buy. Just talking to them can be the best way to find out things they like, or even taking them out shopping is very helpful, or lastly visiting their house and seeing things they already have since that is usually a good indication of what they like.

Choose a Theme:
Now this is my favorite thing to do, when you choose a theme then it becomes easier to buy things since your thoughts are limited. By using the above two ideas you can easily come up with a theme. Some theme examples are: beauty, cozy, sports, stationary, reading, a color, kitchen, decor, food or drinks, and many other ideas.

Unique Wrapping:
Sometimes if you wrap a gift very creatively it will make the gift look even better! When I see a beautifully wrapped gift it boosts my mood and am more likely to love whatever is inside. Pinterest is very helpful for ideas and supplies can often be bought from a dollarstore!

Simple Gifts are The Best:
Don’t over complicate it for yourself. Sometimes the simple, typical gifts can be the best ones. Mugs, socks, gloves, ornaments, books, little things can be very nice for anyone. They are cliche gifts for a reason, everyone always loves them! They are always my go too when there is nothing else in mind.

Be Confident:
I promise, if you are confident in the gift you are giving, the person will love it!
