Dress-Up Your Mani| Nails of the Month!

What a better way to start my blogging return than with NAILS OF THE MONTH!
This past year I have learned to love my nails, and I have collected quite a few polishes. These are my mani’s from the month of NOVEMBER!

NAILS3Thanksgiving season was this month for the US. And while I am Canadian, as a border city we are affected by the holiday as well!

Color: Rosemary by Julep

Top Coat: Essie Gel Setter

Review: Great color! Very much a brick red (rather than a burnt orange). Definitely two coats needed! No staining with no base coat. Lasted about 7 days before taking it off. Didn’t chip, just wore off nicely!

NAILS2So this one was a bit funny! I just got the eggplant purple shade (ring finger) and I wanted to use it. I had it on for a day and got bored … So I decided to add glitter!

Color: Della by Julep

Glitter: Shayla by Julep

Top Coat: Revlon Extra Life

Review: I love the way this look turned out! Delia could be a one  coat depending how you apply it, and Shayla is a buildable glitter (I used 3 coats). Lasted about 6 days with only fading at the tips, could have worn it longer but I decided to change it up!

NAILS1I realized that I love to have my nails match things around me. You could say I am easily inspired! But I have been using this purse all fall and wanted to match it once before I put it away.

Color: Fashionista by Revlon

Accent: Holographic by Revlon

Top Coat: Essie Gel Setter

Review: Two coats needed, very pretty deep teal. Accent nail is layered with holographic sparkle (so pretty!) Problem is that this mani chipped very very quickly! I wish it would have lasted longer. Would recommend the holo though!

This may sound crazy but I am already looking forward to all my shiny December mani’s that are to come! Lot’s of holographic, and holiday/winter shades! Some of my favorites will be used and I can’t wait!

Follow my Instagram too keep up with all my nail pictures, but make sure to keep and eye out on the blog for the reviews.
